"a time for retirement"

this morning was my
friend Larry Bender's surprise retirement party.
Larry and i went to India together in 2005 and really
helped to launch the India campaign that Yorba Linda
Friends is still pushing hard. (i think they've built
over 15 schools and sponsored around 1,000 kids or
more. it's a pretty cool deal.) anyway, Larry has
really been instrumental in keeping that going and
he's a pretty cool guy.
also, my friend Jay Hoff brought his baby who i've never had the opportunity to see. so, it was nice to finally meet her.
