"the ultimate man night"

every year, the girls
of the ROCKHARBOR
staff have a “Girls Day Away” where they go and do
whatever girls do when they all get together. (i
think it was a spa day.) apparently, for years, the
guys have been talking about doing one for themselves
but, as Stacy Scott pointed out, they could never get
one of the girls to organize it for them.
all that has changed.
tonight was the men’s night.
we started at ROCKHARBOR (behind 3080) with a gaming truck. this thing was pretty cool. basically, it was a big trailer with about 15 XBox stations in it. the guys piled in and we played Halo 3 for about three hours straight.
(by the way, Mike Erre is ridiculously good at Halo. Pete Shambrook gets incredibly intense when he plays. to the point that he doesn’t hear you if you try to talk to him. Shawn Scott and i sucked and spent most of the time talking.)
after that, it was off to the movies for the midnight screening of “The Quantum of Solace.” (it wasn’t great.)
but, we had a great night and it was really good to get to know some of the guys a bit better.
